Every group of people has titles that already exist informally. Someone is the one who always books the table. Someone is the one who deploys on Fridays. Someone is, unmistakably, the CEO of Bad Decisions. Those titles get handed around in conversation and then forgotten.
Titles.lol makes them official and public. You claim one, your name goes on a certificate with a serial number and a rank, and it stays yours — there’s no bidding war, no standing price for anyone else to beat.
There is no algorithm deciding what matters here. Rank is the money, and nothing else. Right now the top of the register is ⚔️ Duke of Vibe Coding at $5.
Why people actually do this
Strip away the joke and what’s left is a real, permanent thing you can point to: a certificate with your name on it, a public rank, and a title nobody else can ever hold. Some people want that because it’s funny. Some want it because it’s true. Either way, it’s a screenshot waiting to happen — in a gaming clan, a group chat, a company Slack, wherever your particular flex lands.
Every certificate can also carry a link — your channel, your store, your site, your next project, whatever you’ve actually got going on. Attach one and every visitor who clicks through on the board, the title page or the certificate itself is a real, counted click, not a vanity number. A streamer can point it at their channel. A founder can point it at their product. Most people just leave it blank and enjoy the title.

Is this an investment?
No. A title is a collectible status item, like a novelty trophy that happens to be public and verifiable. There is no resale market, no payout, and nothing to cash in. Buy one because it is funny and true, not because you expect money back.
Where does the money go?
To us. Every claim is revenue for the site. That is deliberate: it keeps the mechanic honest, avoids anything resembling a securities product, and means nobody is buying titles hoping to flip them.
What is “aura”?
A made-up number next to every title and holder that starts with what you paid to claim it, then keeps climbing with every click and every day you hold it. It buys nothing and means everything. Think of it as the leaderboard’s opinion of how much heat you are carrying.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts, no passwords and no app. You give an email address purely so the register can recognise you later — reuse it and your titles, aura and history stack under one profile instead of scattering across separate names. We never send anything to it. No receipts, no newsletter, no notifications.
What if someone claims something offensive?
Slurs, harassment, sexual content, trademarks and impersonation of real people are blocked when a title is created and checked again when it is paid for. Borderline phrases go to a review queue and can be revoked. No money is returned for a revoked title.
Can I get my money back?
No. All sales are final. The single exception is a charge we could not fulfil — if two people claim the same open title in the same instant, only one can be given it, and the other charge is voided rather than kept.
The Ministry
The Ministry of Titles is the fiction; the register is real. Titles are issued and recorded permanently to whoever claims them. Certificates are generated at the moment you ask for one, so they always reflect the truth — and the truth never changes once a title is claimed.
